Today I was supposed to leave Nicaragua by bus but because Manuel Zelaya - President of Honduras - is back in the country after months of exile, the border is closed! Yes he is back and staying in the Brasilian embassy and now thousands of people are there protesting and starting riots. And the police is fighing back which make the whole situation even worse.So no bus to Guatemala today.. got up at 5 AM for nothing and waited for two hours at a gas station also for nothing :(

So hopefully tomorrow the border will be open for some hours. Getting an update today at 2 PM if it will be possible tomorrow or not. Well let`s hope so!

We just called Ticabus for some more information, but they had bad news :( The borders are still closed so no bus tomorrow morning. Whenever there is new information we get an update from them. So tomorrow I am going to spend another day doing nothing in Leon :)

Bordera are still closed. So no busses are going through Honduras. That`s why I will fly tomorrow from Managua to San Salvador. Special offer from TACA, only 89 US dollars (return!).
