Is there a second paradise on earth? Well almost! Not as nice as Isla Grande in Brazil but relaxing on the beaches on Bocas del Toro are really worth it! The main town has a chill atmosphere and the local people and backpackers here are laid back. That`s what I love! That`s why I already love the Caruibbean!
It took about 10 hours to get from Panama City all the way to this beautiful island. Once here I checked in at hostel Mondu TaiTu, sharing an air conditioned room with 7 others. I made some new friends here and explored the beaches like the Starfish Beach. Also went to a awsome party at hostel Aqua Lounge just a 1 minute taxi-boat ride away. He Sebas, Grappig, ik was een paar maanden geleden in Bocas del Toro. Alleen zonder een reisgids te hebben hadden wij pecies zandvlooien strand uit gekozen, heerlijk! Onder water is het daar ook best mooi, heb je daar nog plannen voor? En doorgaan naar Costa Rica (bijv. Cahuita) vanuit waar je nu bent is ook de moeite waard. Al is Costa Rica wel duurder en toeristischer dan de landen waar je tot nu toe doorheen gereisd bent. Anyway, have fun!!
